IoT Week 2021 is here!
After the IoT Week in 2020 was cancelled, we were looking forward to this new edition and it is finally here! The event will start on the 30th of August and will finalise on the 3rd of September. The format will be an online event as a preventive measure for COVID-19 and to facilitate attendance from different parts of the world.

Insect farming to improve sustainability in the agri-food sector: the FLIES4VALUE project
28 July 2021 - FLIES4VALUE, a POR-FESR Emilia-Romagna project, aims to offer an economic, efficient, competitive, and sustainable circular economy system where scavenger insects, the black soldier fly larvae, are exploited as efficient bioconverters to enhance by-products from regional agri-food industries, obtaining feed for laying hens and other substances with high added value, that are useful in the agricultural and food sector. An interdisciplinary team of entomologists, food chemists, microbiologists and technologists, animal husbandry specialists, agronomists, engineers and social scientists is working to provide inputs on the industrial feasibility of a new value chain.
