French National Agricultural Days
2021 is the first edition of the French National Agricultural Days (JOURNÉES NATIONALES DE L’AGRICULTURE). Events will be held on June 18, 19 and 20 throughout the country, offering to each citizen the opportunity to discover their agricultural and food heritage, by visiting farms, production sites, research and transformation sites. 1 500 to 2 000 sites will open their doors to the public. 300 000 to 400 000 visitors are expected. Friday will be more particularly dedicated to school children and the weekend to the general public.
Partner organisations include la Ferme Digitale (French hub of agrifood innovation), the Académie d'Agriculture de France or retailers such as Super U. Partner organisation can register on the French National Agricultural Days website, which proposes an interactive map of all related activities in France.
The French National Agricultural Days were organised in cooperation with Make.org Foundation and #agridemain, with the support of the French Ministery of Agriculture and Nutrition.
